Kate is a Vocal Performance Major at Drake University and is currently studying private voice with Leanne Freeman-Miller. While studying with Gloria Olson she has won 1st place in both Central Region and National NATS competitions (2015/2016) and was chosen to sing in the Tanglewood Institute Honor's Recital in Ozawa Hall (2015). Past roles include Suor Infermiera in Suor Angelica, The Opera Project DSM (2016),  Second Lady in the Magic Flute, International Lyric Academy (2016) and Novizie in Suor Angelica, ILA (2015).
