Elaine Wedeking earned degrees in piano performance from William Penn College and Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman University).  She completed additional graduate study at Northwestern University, Boston University/Tanglewood Institute, and Drake University.  Ms. Wedeking has been a collaborative pianist in central Iowa since 1982.  In addition to her work at Drake, where she accompanies two choirs and many voice students, she is the accompanist for the Des Moines Choral Society and for the choral program at Lincoln High School in Des Moines.  She has also been serving as a staff accompanist at the American Suzuki Institute in Stevens Point, WI, each summer since 2001.
