Adriano Pinheiro | Tenor

Adriano Pinheiro is a versatile Brazilian tenor, with professional studies in voice at Manhattan School of Music where taught voice at the MSM Sunday Program in 2012.  One of the most beautiful and expressive voices in Brazilian art song style, Adriano concluded his Masters Degree in 2010 at the University of State of São Paulo.

His work also includes opera, concerts, and chamber music, with performances in Italy - Basilica de San Pietro and Pantheon (Rome), Paris - at the Petit Palais, Argentina, and Brazil, Portugal e Peru.

​

Adriano has in his repertoire the "Magnificat" (Monteverdi), "The Messiah" (Handel), "The Creation" (Haydn), "Requiem" (Mozart), “Gloria” (Puccini”, “Misa Criolla” (Ariel Ramires), “Carmina Burana” (Carl Orff) "Magdalena" (Villa-Lobos), "The Magic Flute" (Mozart), "La Traviata" (Verdi), "Le Domino Noir” (Daniel Auber), Magdalena (Villa Lobos), Gianni Schicchi (Puccini), among others with performances in the USA, Spain, Italy, Greece, Brazil and Mexico.

As a voice teacher, Adriano has offered masterclass at IUNA (Buenos Aires), the National College of Cuyo in Mendoza - Argentina, Spain -  at the Barcelona Festival of Song), New York - USA, Brazil and Mexico.

​

As an opera director Adriano has worked in Brazil and Mexico in the titles, La Traviata (Verdi), The Medium (Menotti), Gianni Schicchi (Puccini), and The Bride of the Driver (Adriano Pinheiro, Falat and Noel Rosa).  

He was the creator and director of the Opera Studio of UFPE at the Federal University of Pernambuco and now is a voice teacher at EMAC-UFG (School of Music and Performing Arts of University Federal of Goias) in Brazil.
